What is a Member-Owner?
A member-owner owns an equal share of equity in the Co-op. The Co-op’s purpose is to meet the goals and needs of its owners and community.
Why Become An Owner?
As a Co-op owner you choose to follow a strong tradition of maintaining access to high quality food that supports a sustainable regional economy. Co-ops are able to work with small local suppliers, giving you access to organic and local food that customers of other grocery stores would not be able to access. As an owner you have more say in decisions that impact your life and food choices. Everyone has equal ownership of the store. Become an owner - be a part of creating a community that is healthier, more integrated and whole.
