Zach grew up in rural Luck on a small farm owned by his folks, Terry and Patti Mattson. Patti has served the Co-op as a board member, storekeeper and volunteer.

After graduation from Luck High School, Zach earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration - Management Computer Systems from UW-Whitewater. His wife and their two boys came back in 2016 to live in Luck. Zach works remotely for Wisconsin-based Trek Bicycle writing data analysis software. 

Zach's business and information technology background brings new ideas to the board, while his roots give local knowledge and perspective.

Truly an outdoors person, Zach balances his tech time cutting wood, foraging, hunting, gardening and working on the family farm.
